I need an
instrument

If you are serious about playing your instrument, but cannot afford to buy or rent one of a suitable quality, (or at all) we may be able to help!

We work with donors and institutions who have good instruments going spare, and match them up to students in need. Recipients receive their instrument free of charge on long-term loan.

Please fill out the form below with your requirements, to be added to our database, and we will contact you if and when a suitable instrument becomes available.

If you need an instrument repaired or serviced, but cannot afford the cost, we may also be able to help with this, just fill out the form below or get in touch via our contact page.

I want to donate
an instrument

If you have an instrument of any kind which you would like to donate, we would love to hear from you! We have received instrument donations from individuals, instrument makers, and institutions including Leicester Cathedral.

If your instrument would need repairing or servicing before it could go to a student, we would still like to hear from you, as we also hope to save and re-home good instruments that just need a little TLC!

Please fill out the form below and we will contact you if and when a suitable recipient registers interest. Your donated instrument would become the property of the charity, Leicester MusicFest, and would be given on long-term loan to recipients, free of charge, and should the recipient no longer need the instrument, it would be returned to our care.

Can I help another way?

Yes! We'd love to hear from you if you'd like to support this scheme.

There are many ways you can help, including:

  • Offers of instrument repair/servicing

  • Offers of instrument cases

  • Financial donations specifically for this scheme (this would cover transport and moving of larger instruments, or instrument repair)

  • Offers of practical help (lending us a van to transport larger instruments or the simple gift of muscle power!)
