Leicester MusicFest is organised and run entirely by volunteer staff. The Festival can only take place thanks to the kind generosity of patrons and donors. Charitable funding is essential to ensure that the Festival can continue to provide valuable opportunities to young musicians in future years. Could you afford to help us in some way? Perhaps you could club together with work colleagues or friends to make a joint donation? Please see below for some ideas about how you could get involved:
Sponsor an Event
Each year we offer a variety of masterclasses, workshops and concerts, as well as the competitions which are judged by professional adjudicators. Event sponsors receive free advertising or credit in the Festival programme, and automatically become Patrons for life. If you are interested in sponsoring an event, please get in touch with us via the Contact page.
Donate a Trophy
We have been fortunate to receive a number of donated trophies, which are a wonderful symbol of recognition for the winners of our competition classes. In 2019 we are expanding our classical guitar competition and therefore we are looking to acquire further trophies to award for our new classes. Trophies can be engraved
with a dedication of the donor's choice, typically in memory of a loved one, or in tribute to someone living. If you are interested in donating a trophy, please get in touch with us via the Contact page.
Become a Patron
Patrons make a minimum donation of £100, for which they receive free personal access to all Festival events for life. In addition, they receive one further standard ticket to that year's Festival, free refreshments throughout the weekend, and a credit in the Festival programme (subject to their consent). Please click here to become a Patron and donate online, or get in touch with us via the Contact page.
Become a Friend
Friends make a minimum donation of £30, for which they receive two standard tickets to that year's Festival, and a credit in the Festival programme (subject to their consent). Please click here to become a Friend and donate online, or get in touch with us via the Contact page.
Make a donation
If you wish simply to make a one-off donation to the Festival, please click the yellow Paypal button and follow the directions there. Donations may be anonymous if you wish.
The Festival relies on a large team of volunteers to ensure smooth running of events throughout the Festival. If you could spare just a few hours to help us, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with us via the Contact page.
