Composition
Composition competitions
We have competition classes for amateur composers of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you are writing your Opus 1, are composing for your GCSE or A-Level, or already have an impressive portfolio to your name, we can offer you a platform. Receive constructive feedback from an active composer, and even win a medal or the trophy!
At Leicester MusicFest we believe that musicians of all ages can learn a lot by being immersed in all kinds of music-making, so come along to our workshops and masterclasses, get ideas from our competitions, and enjoy our inspiring concerts.
Are you a teacher?
If you are a teacher or school representative intending to enter several students, just create an account with our new dashboard and select 'the new competitor is my student'. Make sure you include Parent/Guardian details for each competitor on your entry. Enter here
We welcome entries of GCSE and A-Level compositions, and hope our feedback can be useful in making the final tweaks before submission.
