Roxanne Gull
Artistic Director, Trustee & Accompanist
Roxanne is a Cambridge University music graduate and former Organ Scholar of Lincoln Cathedral and Christ’s College, Cambridge. With Christ's College Chapel Choir, she played for major tours to Europe, the USA and Australia and accompanied three recordings on the Regent label. After graduating, she moved to Leicester, where she now works as a teacher, conductor and accompanist. She is an Associate of the Royal College of Organists, and frequently works as a piano accompanist for exams,
auditions and concerts.

Roxanne is committed to promoting music education in Leicester, and in addition to her work as Leicester MusicFest’s Artistic Director, she has worked on various projects to promote the organ to young people in the city, including workshops, student performance platforms, and a substantial organ education programme at English Martyrs' School, where she also co-directs the Schola Cantorum. She has also overseen and advised on organ scholarship schemes at Leicester churches, most recently at St Guthlac's, Knighton and St Anne's, Western Park.
Roxanne is Musical Director of Leicester University Chamber Choir, with whom she has recorded three CDs and regularly tours in the UK and abroad. She has also mentored student conductors and led choral conducting workshops at Leicester University, and was closely involved with the foundation of a new chamber choir at De Montfort University. She has tutored in choral direction at the Jennifer Bate Organ Academy, and is an occasional adjudicator for competitions and festivals.
